The Code of Federal Regulations, Part 38 Paragraph 74, authorizes the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) to examine ownership and control records to verify that the businesses registered in VetBiz Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database are eligible to participate in VA's buying authority established under Public Law (P.L.) 109-461, Section 502 and 503.

DAI recently submitted a verification requirements package and was informed by Andrea M. Gardner-Ince, Deputy Director Center for Veterans Enterprise, that the company's SDVOSB status had indeed been verified and that the company has been added to the Veteran business database at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/. This allows the company participation in the Veterans First Contracting Program opportunities with the VA.

DAI President, Rich Jones, expressed excitement for the business opportunities and was pleased with the formal designation. He credited his administrative staff for their organizational abilities and for the gathering of complete corporate documentation as the key to a successful verification package.

Ms. Gardner-Ince also thanked Mr. Jones for "his service to our country and for continuing to serve America through small business ownership." She went on to say that it is an honor to support "Veterans in Business Still Serving America."
